Walk by Prague Castle and other sites on a 3-hour guided tour. Listen and learn about the Royal Palace, St. Vitus Cathedral, St. George Basilica, Golden Lane, and more, enjoying panoramic views of Charles Bridge, the Rudolfinum, and Hradcany Square.
What to Expect
Spend a few hours exploring the Prague Castle complex, the largest in the world, on a 3-hour guided tour of this beautiful and historical center of Prague.
As you travel to the site by bus, take in the panoramic views of historic monuments, including the Charles Bridge, the Rudolfinum, Belvedere, and Hradcany Square–areas that will provide you with an authentic flavor of Prague. Then disembark at the Prague Castle to begin a journey by foot.
Visit three of Prague Castle's well-maintained courtyards, listening as your guide provides you with expert commentary about the area. You will walk through the first courtyard, known as the Courtyard of Honour, where the castle guards ceremoniously change shifts at noon every day.
Stroll on through the second courtyard, home to a gorgeous Baroque fountain. In the third courtyard, admire the front of the Old Royal Palace.
Visit the Lobkovicz Palace, the only privately owned building in the Prague Castle complex and home to the highly acclaimed Lobkowicz Collections. Hear important details of European history and the six hundred-year history of the Lobkowicz family, including the dramatic story of how the family lost everything twice and reclaimed it - twice.
You will also pass by St. Vitus Cathedral, a vault with tombs of the Bohemian kings, and the Old Royal Palace. Continue on down the picturesque Golden Lane, a road dating back to the 15th century and lined with cottages of royal marksmen.
