Nice guide, small group. At the departure point we were given the choice to go to boat via public transport or on foot. We went on foot (about 20 min) and on the way we got some explanation about the history and some beautiful buildings. Boat trip went smoothly from the jetty, we walked through an alternative to the entrance so that we could still enjoy a beautiful garden with castle. The zoo is definitely worth a visit. Not for people with walking difficulties. You could return to the center by public transport. That was very clearly explained by the guide so that was easy. You are in the center in about 20 minutes. You can use the ticket for 90min so if you want you can take another tram or bus through Prague for sightseeing .

We spontaneously booked the trip. Our guide was a very nice elderly lady. It was not easy for her because we actually booked the trip on our own and no other travelers came. But she entertained us very well and explained and showed us a lot. The zoo itself is beautiful and very interesting! You can spend hours there if you have the time. When we arrived it suddenly rained cats and dogs, but with an umbrella and the many places in the dry indoor area you could still stay there very well and enjoy the time. So an absolute recommendation!
