Take a trip through Czech history and head past Prague's famous sights on this extensive city bike tour. Learn about Prague's history from your guide with stops at the Old Town Square, National Theatre, Jewish District, John Lennon Wall, and much more.
What to Expect
This bike ride through Prague covers all of the city's best sites and much more, aboard comfortable and well-maintained bikes. Your guide will tell you the most interesting stories of Prague with historical stories and anecdotes and the best places to visit along the way.
Start your tour in the Old Town and head immediately across the Vltava river. On the way, stop on a green island in the middle of the river for a story about the Czech National Theater. From here, head to the other side of town for a ride through Kampa Park and to see its famous baby statues by Czech artist David Cerny.
The tour's next stop is the famous John Lennon wall, a collection of street art which became a symbol of protest against the communist government in the 1980s. Ride back across the river to take in the history of Rudolfinium and the Jewish district.
Next, ride down Central Europe’s most expensive street to reach the breathtaking Old Town Square. Wind your way through the historical center to the Gothic Powder Tower, followed by a stop at the inspiring Estates Theater.
The last major stop of the tour is one of the best: Wenceslas Square, where most of the change in Prague’s history over the last century took place, from the Czech Uprising to the Velvet Revolution against communism. The tour ends back at the tour center, where your guide will be happy to offer directions and advice on the best places to visit in the city.
After the tour, you can continue exploring the city on your own: you are welcome to keep your bike for the rest of the day for free.
