Our visit to Prague Castle was exceptional. At 65 years of age, it wasn't easy to climb the steps to get there, but it was certainly worth it in the end. The beautiful buildings with over a mellinium of history was simply breathtaking. Our tour took us to 5 different sites including Prague Castle, St. Vitus Cathedral, St. George Basilica, Old Royal Palace and Golden Lane. The architectural designs and structures were just amazing. So many photographs to look back on and share with friends and family. We had a lovely lunch at the cafe there. Before our tour was complete, we were able to visit the Lobkowicz Palace Museum which is filled with artwork around 500 years old. It was a full day to see and appreciate as much as we could. A must see for anyone who plans to spend some time in the city of Prague.

one needs to access the Palace at the correct entrance to save walking a long way. we did not manage it. Perhaps the 'GET your guide' info could be a bit more helpful, telling the Tram or Metro stops, then even if you were walking you would know where to aim for? I am over 70 and found the trip a bit tiring but I did enjoy it.

This is such a unique and cool experience. The view was almost worth the entire price alone. We took in the classical concert at 1:00PM. There were only about 20 people present in the audience. The musicians were amazing professionals. I wanted to know who they were after, but was informed that they are anonymous and its different musicians every day. The museum was amazing. The music section had things I've never seen before. Actual writings of Handel and Mozart and Beethoven. The self-guided tour was interesting to listen to. The rest of the complex was fascinating. The big gothic church is amazing for its architecture. It is entirely unashamed of what it presents in the most ornate way possible. Its not as old as it looks. That's disappointing. The changing of the guard at noon is a fun thing to watch. Be prepared for walking SO. MANY. STAIRS. if you go up the side to the front of the complex.
