From Prague: Český Krumlov and České Budějovice Day Trip

Cesky Krumlov ist wunderschön. Der ganze Ausflug ist wirklich empfehlenswert. Gestört hat uns aber, dass wir auf Anfrage um Änderung des Datums des Ausfluges eingewilligt haben (wären am ursprünglich gebuchten Tag die beiden einzigen Göste gewesen) und dann in einem bis auf den letzten Platz belegten Minibus sitzen mussten. Das war dann schon sehr mühsam.

The trip was very interesting and definitely worth seeing. We were blow away by the castle and it’s interior of baroque and rococo styles! The only thing, we’ve got unlucky with the driver/guide. He said he has a lot of respect for russia while it keeps on killing Ukrainians. A refugee who lost a close family member as a result of it was in a group. And just before that we had an ice breaker when a person spoken up about it. I feel like it’s disgraceful and I felt very sorry for a person. Additionally, they made rasial comment to the women of colour in our group, calling them “(nationality) female”. The girls were five min late to the pick up location. So the driver/guide scolded them for nearly ten minutes in front of the entire bus. This just threw me off to be honest. I’d go for another tour to the Chesky Krumlow but the guide could be more considerate of the group, I think.

Sowohl das Schloss als auch das kleine Städtchen von Cesky Krumlov sind sehr schön und sehenswert. Leider darf man im Schloss keine Fotos machen und darf es nur mit Führung besichtigen. Ich hätte mir auch etwas mehr Freizeit gewünscht, um die Stadt auf eigene Faust zu erkunden und vielleicht auch Mal in dem ein oder anderen Geschäft zu stöbern. In Budweis sieht man nur den großen Platz, weil es sonst wohl keine touristischen Plätze in der Stadt gibt.
