Escape the hustle and bustle of Prague at winter time, and enjoy a 2-day ski break in the Krušné Mountains. Stay in the popular ski resort of Klínovec, and enjoy some time on the slopes at leisure. Along the way, visit the picturesque town of Carlsbad, and go to the legendary Moser Glassworks to see beautiful stemware and decorative glass.
Following a pick-up at your hotel in Prague at around 08:00, transfer for approximately 2 hours through the scenic landscapes of Central and West Bohemia. Upon arrival at Karlovy Vary (Carlsbad), visit the ruins of Angel Mountain and the unique triangular Church of the Holy Trinity. Continue to the famous Moser Glassworks factory to see decorative glassware and engravings. There will be some free time to visit the gift shop and buy some souvenirs if you like. After lunch in a local restaurant, enjoy some free time in Carlsbad town center. Known for its therapeutic waters, the spa town is also famous for the liqueur called “Becherovka,” a herbal bitter that is often taken to aid digestion. Continue to the ski town of Klínovec to check into your accommodation, and enjoy dinner in a local restaurant.
Following breakfast at your hotel, collect you ski rental equipment (including ski clothes), and enjoy a full-day of skiing the slopes of Klínovec. Put your ski skills to the test as you try out the resort’s many different downhill pistes and ski runs. Then relax with refreshments at any of the several restaurants. Return your ski equipment at the end of the day, and transfer in comfort back to Prague.
