Please meet your guide inside the tourist information office at Mostecka 4. The meeting point is located in the Mala Strana historical district of Prague. From Old Town, you must cross over Charles Bridge to the Prague Castle side. From the Malostranske namesti tram stop, it’s a 5-minute walk through Mostecka Street.

Know before you go

  •  Due to the interior part entrance deadline and out of respect to others in the group, the tour starts on time - please come to the meet point 10-15 minutes before the tour starts (!)
  •  You will meet two different guides – one from PragueWay Tours, the other is from the Old Town Hall’s official guide services
  • This is the only such accessible underground space in Prague for guided tours. It takes around 20 minutes. The rest of the Old Town Hall interior tour consists of its historic halls (above ground)

We did this on our second day in prauge, which was quite nice, because you get an overall understanding of the city and it's history. So its a nice guide/trip to start with. The underground is really worth visiting, and the guides make you understand what you're looking at, and what is was used for, back in the days. The trip and the guides were really great, and if you have any questions, about the city the guides will help. The only minus, was that the given adress for the meeting point was wrong, so we had a bit of a trouble finding it. But we can definitely recommend the tour.

The tour begins on the far side of Charles Bridge (make sure you check your details well in advance and leave enough time as the bridge is very crowded). the first part of the tour was excellent. Ivan was our guide and he was very knowledgeable, had a good pace and balanced information with questions and discussions really well. The astronomical cock is obviously a great draw but the tour guide was a little too focused on individuals. The underground part comes at the end and this was also good.

Agathe is a gem! So happy to have had her as the guide; so informative and fun. My only criticism is that we went from a small intimate tour into a very large group at the end for the Old Town Hall, clock, and underground. That guide was very charming too and managed her large group well. I would have liked to have learned more about the clock since it was important enough to be listed on the title of the tour!
