What People Are Saying About Prague Castle
We were amazed by the area we covered in the short length of time we had. The guide had a very good command of English but occasionally her pronunciation made her information difficult to understand. The tales were fascinating - if a little far-fetched - and it was a shame that some of the group did not stay for the full tour. We learned a lot about the history of old Prague as well as about the ghosts and the information whetted our appetites to find out more in the daylight.
A very interesting tour. A very good guide. She took us to very special corners and told us the legends. The surroundings was a bit dark but not too scary.
Good night tour, great to be able to visit the locations without the crowds. Our guide, Kelly, was excellent
We had to reschedule our booking due to a canceled flight, and Ms. McGee handled the issue promptly and without any problem. Our guide, Byron, was terrific. He's half Czech and half American, so he speaks perfect English while having deep insights into Prague. The tour was very lively, focusing on Prague history and legends and on Czech culture, with plenty of interesting anecdotes. Not a good choice for art and architecture enthusiasts, though: the details about these subjects were almost completely disregarded (which was fine with us, so the tour still earns five stars). A word of warning: If you are taking the tour in cold weather, dress very warmly. The castle hill tends to be colder than the city center, and some chilly wind can blow straight to your bones.
This was a great tour with historical facts as well as interesting legends. We really enjoyed walking in the early evening as the places visited were void of all tourists so you could take your time and actually see the sites on a personal level. I would recommend to anyone who has the stamina to walk for approximately 3 hours at a moderate pace. It was a special way to see Prague without any crowds.
