My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our electric bike tour, it was such a great way to see some of the country and the scenery was stunning. The steep hills were no problem at all with the electric bikes (we are complete converts!) Our guide took us to a really cool restaurant in a village aimed at cyclists for lunch which we enjoyed and the other two people in our group were really nice and fun to spend the day with. Our guide was very flexible and gave us options of places and routes which was appreciated. It was a full day’s trip - we met up at 10am and didn’t get back to Lisbon till 6.30pm but I think that was because we’d chosen longer more scenic routes and stopped off to explore in various places. Cycling along the coastline to Cascais as the sun lowered in the sky was just stunning (we went in November). And we didn’t even ache the next day! Highly recommend!

Awesome! It wasn’t what I expected; it was more physically taxing than I had understood it to be however, with the e-bike & a private tour with just our family, it was the perfect day out. Ricardo, our guide, was fun, engaging and informative. We rode for 42kms over the day, up the mountain, down the mountain and took in the views and scenery of Sintra & Cascais and everything in between. Lunch at the cyclists canteen was filling and suitable for the day. We rode through little towns, forests and valleys, along the beach front and to our train back to Lisbon. This is an amazing opportunity to do something with your family that they will remember forever, even if it did push the comfort boundaries for mum!!! Highly recommend the tour.

Our tour was great. Not only did our guide, Hugo, possess an encyclopedic knowledge of the history of the Fado genre and its famous singers, but Hugo arranged for an actual Fado singer, Ruca, to accompany us and sing numerous Fado selections as we toured Alfama on our way to a Fado restaurant where we heard four more excellent Fado singers perform. When Ruca sang as we wound our way through the maze of Alfama streets and alleys, local residents came to their windows and doorways and joined us in enthusiastically applauding his singing. We highly recommend Hugo’s Fado tour.

Lisbon is very hilly & pavements can be slippery so I would approach this tour with caution should you have mobility issues. However, if you are fairly fit then I really recommend this tour. The walking pace is good & our guide was excellent. Stops for food & drinks made this extra enjoyable. Definitely recommend.

Daniel was a very helpful guide and showed us beautiful places. Definitely recommend this tour.
