What to Expect
The tour of Poznan starts with a visit to the Gothic Cathedral on the island of Ostrow Tumski, the place of baptism of Poland in the year 966. Passing the Chrobry Bridge, you will enter the splendid Old Town, famous for the renaissance Town Hall dominating over the Market Square. Stroll along the charming streets to discover the impressive baroque church and the Franciscan Church with a miniature model of old Poznan.
Continue walking to the Freedom Square surrounded by the historical 19th century buildings: the National Museum, Raczynski Library, Bazar Hotel, and Arcadia. You will then transfer to the Lech Brewery, where you would learn all the techniques of beer production and the origin of bubbles. After this fascinating tour you are invited to the brewery pub for a well-chilled beer.
