After a refreshing swim, savor local delicacies like marinated fish and fresh garden tomatoes, accompanied by ouzo or wine. - Next, we sail along the rocky coast of southern Antiparos to reach Mastichari Cave, where you can explore sea caves nestled under white cliffs or even try your hand at cliff diving. - After passing the iconic Epitaphios cave, we’ll arrive at Despotiko for a traditional Greek lunch. Choose between grilled fresh fish or chicken souvlaki, served with Greek salad, potato salad, and cold beer. - On our way back, we’ll pause for a final swim at the tranquil Faneromeni Bay, topped off with refreshing fruit. Venture across azure waters on the way to the Padieronissia Blue Lagoon which lies in between three small islands. Jump in the turquoise waters and cool-off in the crystal-clear waters. Enjoy swimming or snorkeling with the included snorkeling gear for about an hour before heading to the famous bay of Panagia Faneromeni. Soak up some fun in this beautiful bay for an hour where you can snorkel along the rocky reef side of the bay. Sail around the coast of southern Antiparos, to Mastichari where there is an ideal place for snorkeling or cliff jumping from white rocks. Have the chance to take some nice photos and videos while you are diving into the sea during this 1-long stop. Venture to the cave of Epitaphios and explore the area under the cave during this hour-long stop. Continue to pne of the lesser-known archaeological sites in Greece at Despotiko. This small, uninhabited islet is very close to Antiparos, in the Cyclades group of islands, not far from Mykonos or Santorini. Visit the island and see the ancient site with an hour-long stop. Head to Psaralki Antiparos where the boat drops anchor, so you can swim and admire the beautiful spot on board while tasting local wine and snacks before heading back to Pounda Port. During the cruise sit in the shade on board until your next dive into the sea. A per person walking tour through the streets and paths of Chora, up to the famous Panagia Church at the peak of Chora. Note this is for a people wanting to book for up to 3 people. Along the way I will describe the history of the island from medieval times until the 21st century. We will stop for photos and go the speed of an average walk, circling back to roughly where we started in Chora. I delve into the Cycladic culture, offering comprehensive insights into the Cyclades and Folegandros. We meander through the street, up the the Panagia and then back again to visit the medieval castle of Castro which is still inhabited. We then explore and discuss an impressive monument from the 4th century BC. Following this, we ascend the serpentine path to the unique church of Panagia, an architectural gem. A visit to the Castro, a UNESCO site, allows us to vividly experience historical narratives, where I elaborate on the castle's structure, significance, pirate attacks, and the general life of its inhabitants. Concluding the tour, we head to the "Kalderimi" to witness the more recent architecture of the 20th century and highlight the shifts in our island's culture with the advent of tourism. I am a university educated woman, whose history hails from this island, having spent many summers and on the island. My grandfather was a milliner and operate done of the three windmills that are still standing, where I also operate two small homes for rent.
