From the port of Potsdam, the ship sails past Babelsberg Park with its palace and court ladies' house towards the Teltow Canal, passing Lake Griebnitzsee on the way. This is framed by numerous villas of former UFA stars and other architectural reminders of the past. For example, the American President Truman and the British Prime Minister Churchill resided here during the Potsdam Conference in 1945.
After leaving the Prinz-Friedrich-Leopold Canal behind and passing through the Kleiner Wannsee, the ship reaches the Großer Wannsee with its famous lido. After a one-hour trip, the boat makes a short stop here. From Wannsee S-Bahn station, which is just a few minutes' walk from the jetty, you can reach Berlin city center in no time at all.
After the ship has cast off again, the tour now takes you past the Pfaueninsel back towards Potsdam. After crossing the Jungfernsee with its palaces and parks, you will pass the famous Glienicke Bridge. From the deep lake, you will once again have a wonderful view of the Potsdam skyline.
Enjoy this two-hour round trip or use this trip to the Berlin district of Wannsee as the crowning glory of a trip to the Brandenburg state capital.
