Really great tour. We went earlier to do a tour of the Neu Palace (inside) which was worthwhile then went to join the Tour in the afternoon. If you like you could do a tour inside of San Souci instead but you have the option of staying and doing that when you’re on this Tour. The Tour guide was truly fluent in German and English when we were doing the walking part of the tour. On the bus, the guide spoke only in German and the rest who opted for other languages were provided with earbuds to connect to the audio commentary which synced perfectly with the passing landmarks. Very well done indeed. A worthwhile tour of Potsdam.

Potsdam is a beautiful city but you can not find any information on it because there are no tours in any language except German. The bus service on this tour was good because it took you the main points of interest but the guide was worthless if you do not speak German. Basically we spent 50 euro for a bus ride that we could have done on our own for much less. I told the information center that I had looked for any tour in English and he told me there were none because it is a "German thing". I will never understand the German's for not wanting many people to know more about beautiful places in their country. Most countries share their history in English.

The tourist guide was nice and cheerful. 🙂 They showed the main attractions in the city, 3 palaces where we stopped, and talked about history. The tourist guide was talking in German, but we got audio. The only negative thing was that my audio didn't work first, so I missed the first 5-10 minutes, and had to find another place where it worked. The tour was a relatively short introduction to the city's history and palaces, and we spent really little time everywhere. I recommend people (just like the tourist guide) to stop or go back to some spots (e.g. San Soussi).
