Great Tour! So much to see, but our guide Johannes did an awesome job of keeping us on schedule. He also took the time at the start of the tour to get our input on what most interested us in Potsdam so we hit the highlights because you really can not see everything in one day.

Informative and thought provoking. A great day had even in bad weather

I chose this particular tour because it was a 6 hour tour - not sure how a 4 hour tour could have been as informative or paced as well. Johannes, our guide picked us up from our hotel and we enjoyed a private guided tour of Potsdam and its history. Johannes' research and accompanying material brought the past into the present. Lovely stop for lunch - beer hall - great atmosphere smelling the mash cooking. Good food, good company, good sights - can't ask for more.

This was a wonderful tour. Would absolutely recommend.

Have you ever been to a city and just wished you were friends with someone who would show you the ins and outs of a place, who also knew the history? This is the tour for you. Johannes made us instantly comfortable, was knowledgeable, courteous and a pleasure. Really. It was like being new best friends with a history buff who wanted to show you his home. He accommodated us and our one year old son with no complaints while giving us an amazing tour from Berlin through Wannsee and Potsdam. The second you get going the tour begins with interesting facts about all the sites you pass. We travel a lot and I can tell you without a doubt that this was one of the best tours I have ever been on. I was sad that we had this booked on our last day before leaving Germany because I would have loved to have booked his other tours as well. If you are thinking of booking a tour in Berlin, Dresden or Potsdam you should absolutely book with Terra Incognita.
