Uyuni Salt Flats Tour 1 day, first we start with the pick up from the hotel in Uyuni, then we will go to the train cemetery to see the old locomotives. Then we head to the community of Colchani (the gateway to the Salar) where we will find rustic handicraft workshops and the rustic micro-processor of table salt. Continuing with the expedition to the majestic Salar de Uyuni we will make stops to see salt extractions, salt eyes and the salt hotel Playa Blanca which currently only functions as a museum. Later we will visit the most popular island of the Salar located in the middle of the Salar, the Incahuasi Island where we will hike and we will be able to appreciate large extensions of cactus, sea rock fossils and spectacular 360° views from the viewpoint. Finishing our tour, we head to the town of Uyuni. Note: Visit to Incahuasi Island not available during the rainy season

Day 1 Go to the Bus Office at 8:30 p.m. for the check-in, then bus from La Paz to Uyuni departures at 9:00 p.m. Inside the bus, enjoy the service of Dinner (Meat and Vegetarian Option), Breakfast, a Bottle of Water, a Hot Drink, Heating, Toilets, a Polar Blanket, Wi-Fi, and a First Aid Kit. Day 2 Arrive in Uyuni City at 7:30 a.m. Free time to buy snacks, water, and more for your trip. (we have a free time, because all companies and tourist points are available from 10:30 a.m.) Then go to our office 1 block away from bus station. Start your tour off at 10:30 a.m. with a drive out to the Uyuni Salt Flats. The first stop is the haunting “Train Graveyard’, which is found on the outskirts of Uyuni. Then visit the small settlement of Colchani (salt miners’ workshops next to the salt flats), there, also find handicrafts made of salt, and textile art manufactured of llama and alpaca wool. These make excellent souvenirs to bring back home. Take photos as you cruise along the vast white expanse of salt, wade through “Ojos de Agua Salada”, also visit: a hotel made completely out of salt which is currently used as a museum – restaurant, Flags of the world (Where you can bring yours and put there for free) and a Monument of Dakar racing. After a morning of exploration, Lunch will be served on the way, following that, have time to take a hike to the top of the Incahuasi island to see giant cacti and rock formations made of petrified coral. Important: Due to the rainy season (from January to March), it is not possible to access Incahuasi Island. Next, take time to organize your group for fun perspective- and proportion-distorted photos, set on the blinding white surface of the salt flats, playing around with the scene, you can be sure to take some funny, and memorable shots! Finally, head to a spacious area for the unique experience of seeing a beautiful sunset over the salt flats, spreading its dazzling colors all over the Uyuni Salt Flats, and enjoying it with a glass of wine. Return from your tour to our office in Uyuni between 7:15 p.m. and 7:45 p.m. Then, head to the Bus Office on your own by 8:30 p.m. Departure Bus from Uyuni to La Paz 9:00 p.m. Day 3 Arrive at La Paz City between 6:15 a.m. to 6:35 a.m. The finish point of the tour: Main Bus Station in La Paz City. Day 1. 9:00 pm show up at the TITICACA EXPERIENCE bus office which is located on Peru Street, inside the bus terminal, to travel to Uyuni in a premium bus with a bed, with heating, blankets and a bathroom on board. Bus departure time is 9:45 pm Day 2. (Breakfast, lunch) Upon arrival in Uyuni, be picked up from the bus terminal and enjoy a delicious local breakfast. 10:30 am, the tour begins with a visit to the old train cemetery, visit the town of Colchani, the artisanal teindas, the salt processors, visit the Plaza de las Banderas, construction of monuments with blocks of salt, visit the Incahausi island , enjoy a local lunch at the Uyuni salt flat. Enjoy the sunset in the largest salt desert in the world. Transfer to Uyuni, rest in our environments before boarding the bus. Travel by premium sleeper bus back to La Paz. Day 3. Arrive in La Paz at 6:30 am, we suggest taking a taxi to your hotel.

Day 1 10:30 a.m. Tour Uyuni Salt Flats Day 2 Tour Uyuni Salt Flats + National Reserve Day 3 Tour Uyuni Salt Flats + National Reserve 10:30 a.m. Transfer to San Pedro de Atacama. 1:30 p.m. Arrival time to Spa. Explore the area around Uyuni on a 3-day tour. See handicrafts made of salt, stop at the Flags of the World, and visit the Chiguana Desert. Day 1 Meet your guide in Uyuni and begin your 3-day adventure. Head to the Train Graveyard, a cemetery full of abandoned trains. Stop at the small settlement of Colchani, which housed salt miners, and shop for handicrafts made of salt and textile art made of llama and alpaca fiber. Next, visit a hotel and museum made entirely out of salt. Bring your country's flag and place it at the Flags of the World, and stop at the Monument to Dakar racing. For an added fee, visit Incahuasi Island, a former island in the middle of the salt flats. Then, pose for some fun perspective- and proportion-distorted photos taken against the backdrop of the striking white surface of the salt flats. Finally, head to a spacious area for the unique experience of seeing a beautiful sunset over the salt flats, spreading its dazzling colors all over the Uyuni Salt Flats, and enjoying it with a glass of wine. First Night: Agencha 2/3/4/5/6-bed rooms + communal bathrooms. Day 2 Begin with an early breakfast before heading to Chiguana Desert. Stand surrounded by volcanoes and marvel at the still-active Ollagüe Volcano. Then, continue along the rocky road El Pasito Tuntun to reach the beautiful lagoons of Cañapa, Hedionda, and Chiarcota. Keep an eye out for the brilliantly colored flamingoes standing in the lagoons. Stop to enjoy lunch before heading to Eduardo Avaroa National Reserve (entry not included). Visit Siloli Desert and see the Rock Tree lava rock formation. Continue to Huayllajara, stopping at the Red Lagoon overlook point to see flamingos relaxing in the intense red colors of the lake. Second Night: Huayllajara Shared 6 –bed room (Same Group at the jeep car) + communal bathrooms. Day 3 Get off to an early start around 5:00 a.m. to visit the Sol de Mañana Geyser (5,000m) and walk next to fumaroles and steaming craters filled with boiling pots of mud at 150-200 Cº. then, have the opportunity to take a bath in an open air Hot Springs at a 35 Cº water. The next places to appreciate are the Dali Desert Marvel at the vivid colors of the Green and White Lagoons, created from the toxic copper water at the foot of the Licancabur Volcano. Then, head back to San Pedro de Atacama in Chile. Cross the Bolivian border with the help of your tour guide and finish your adventure at San Pedro de Atacama’s main square.

Then meeting time in our office at 10:00 a.m. Departure from Uyuni City at 10:30 a.m. towards the salt flats in 4x4 WD cars. First, go around the Train Cemetery to observe the remnants of the eighteenth and early twentieth-century locomotives (The perfect spot to take artistic pictures). Then, arrive at Colchani village to appreciate the salt production and take a short walk through the artisanal market and the museum. Later, the immense Uyuni Salt Flats. Along the trip, visit: Salt eyes, Salt Hotel-Museum (Built entirely of salt blocks), Dakar Monument, Flags of the world, and finally, arrive at Incahuasi Island to appreciate the beautiful view and the giant cactus. At the end of the day, take your time in the sunset with a glass of wine, and get to the hostel for dinner time. Day Three / Chiguana + Ollague lookout point + Andean lagoons with flamingoes + Red lagoon After breakfast, go to visit the famous lagoons: Cañapa, Hedionda, Chiarcota, with a lot of flamingoes. Later, an exquisite lunch, Siloli desert, Stone Tree. At the final of the day, arrive at Red Lagoon which is inhabited by numerous flamingos. Finally, head to the hostel in the community of “Huayllajara” to have dinner, and night rest. Day Four / Geysers Sol de Mañana + Hot Springs Pool + Lookout point Green lagoon - White lagoon - Lincancabur Volcano + Transfer to San Pedro de Atacama Early morning, after breakfast, go to "Sol de Mañana" geysers and enjoy a fantastic view along the way; this place has volcanic activity such as fumaroles and geysers (holes of bubbling mud, smoking, and a smell of sulfur). Also, visit the hot springs of Polques to take a bath and relax enjoying the most beautiful landscape. Then, the Salvador Dali Desert which offers spectacular views and multicolored rock formations of the volcanoes. Later, go up to the viewpoint of the Green Lagoon, White Lagoon, and Lincancabur Volcano. Finally, tour Guides will assist customers with their border crossing at 10:00 a.m. and people will arrive in San Pedro at 1:30 p.m. The drop-off is at San Pedro de Atacama’s main square. Continue to the Andean lagoons of Cañapa, Hedionda, Chiarcota, and Honda, where you can see pink flamingos, Andean ducks, and seagulls. Lunch will be served near Hedionda Lagoon. After lunch, enter the Siloli Desert, one of the driest on Earth, located at 6,000 meters above sea level, and see the famous Stone Tree. Enter Bolivia’s most visited national park, the Eduardo Avaroa National Reserve. The day ends at the spectacular Red Lagoon, home to flocks of pink flamingos. After this, head to your accommodation in Huayllajara town. Day 3: Huayllajara - San Pedro de Atacama Wake up early to witness the sunrise at the Sol de Mañana Geysers. Then, relax in the Polques Hot Springs before heading to the Dali Desert, a surreal landscape reminiscent of Salvador Dalí’s paintings. Visit the Green Lagoon, located next to the towering Licancabur Volcano, which serves as a natural border with Chile. THE TOUR ENDS AT THE CHILEAN BORDER AT 9:30 AM. This small town survives from the sale of salt souvenirs and hand woven textiles. Locals also extract salt and process it for consumption - a process you can observe. Afterwards, enter the salt flats and drive towards the first salt hotel ever built. It no longer serves as a hotel but you can still see it standing proud, with its crystalline white walls, tables, and chairs - all made out of salt. Then, head to the Incahuasi, or Fish Island, where giant cacti grow up to 12 meters tall. Enjoy lunch here before trying your hand at snapping those iconic distance and size perception pictures on the salt flats. Finally, head back to Uyuni.
