Oh la la! The best thing to do on the Amalfi Coast is a fulll day private boat excursion. Begin from Positano, Nerano or Praiano and cruise along the entire Amalfi Coast. Discover the best of the Coast through the eyes of a local.
What to Expect
A full day boat tour from Positano or a neighboring port (Nerano or Praiano). You will have a first hand look of the beautiful Amalfi Coast.
This is a great opportunity to discover the seaside villages with time to stop and swim off of the boat in various coves and bays.
Are you interested in visiting a village on land for some free time? The captain will drop you off and wait for you at the port. When you are ready, simply meet him back at the boat.
You will see crumbling Norman towers dating back from the 13th century mixed with modern day luxury hotels and villas.
Your captain will take you to Li Galli private islands, where the Jet Set prefer to stay for a private hideaway vacation. Swim in the sea by the islands and bask in the Mediterranean sunshine.
The best part about this excursion? The captain is a local of the area which means that he will show you the true beauty of the Amalfi Coast without the long lines, traffic and noise.
Pass Atrani, the smallest village in Italy and head to Marmorata, where a waterfall flows into the sea. The quaint seaside village of Minori will come next, full of colorful beach umbrellas and Italian men fishing off of the pier. Finally you will reach Maiori, a busy tourist town. Your captain will take you to Pandora's grotto, a cave accessible only by boat. Here you will see sea fossils and ancient stalagtites.
I always suggest saving room for lunch. This is a culinary paradise of Italy and there are many seaside restaurants easily accessible by boat. Your captain can suggest some great spots if you're not sure where to go.
Awaken your senses on the Amalfi Coast and truly experience La Bella Vita with this relaxing, fun and interactive excursion!
What's Not Included
- Lunch (the captain can give you some great suggestions on delicious restaurants to stop!)
- Gratuity (at your discretion and if you enjoyed the day...and I think you will!)
Know Before You Go
I suggest wearing a bathing suit under your clothes, flip flops, sunscreen and sunglasses. Don't forget the camera! I also strongly suggest booking on a day at the beginning of your vacation so if for some reason the weather is not cooperating, we can move the excursion to another day!
