Full description

Your driver will pick you up in the morning in a comfortable luxury vehicle, seating either 4, 8, or 18 passengers. You’ll begin your 9-hour tour with a stop at a viewpoint in Peso da Régua to enjoy the views of the entire city. Taste the wines of the Douro Valley wine region and admire magnificent views of Régua and its terraced vineyards. Go to an organic winery to sample some of the delicious port wines and then visit Pinhão to admire the hand-painted tiles of the magnificent train station. Stop for lunch in a typical Portuguese restaurant and enjoy magnificent views of the area, said to be one of the most beautiful in the world. Taste all the best that the Douro Valley has to offer, always with an amazing view.

Super organized tour. Were picked up at the hotel on time. The first very small winery was really great and interesting. Then lunch which was very good. Drinks, i.e. as much wine as you wanted, was included. The second winery was huge and very commercial. You don't have to have the river trip by boat, but it was included. The tour guide was very entertaining and explained and knew a lot. Overall a great tour.

Perfectly organized tour with personal pickup by our very personable and knowledgeable guide Paolo. The scenery is enchanting, the tastings were all different and all excellent. The lunch in a very nice ambience was excellent. The time flew by, there was no idle time, as the impressions were very diverse.

Everything was perfect ! We couldn't have asked for a better way to explore the Douro Valley and its vineyards. Our guide Sara was very pleasant and attentive. She spoke French very well and we were able to chat a lot with her. The vineyards were magnificent and the tastings rich in discovery. We are delighted with this experience which allowed us to go to places that we could not have discovered on our own.
