The tour was very well organized. We were picked up at the hotel perfectly on time. After a short stop for a coffee it went to the first wine estate, where we could taste 2 Rosé, white and red wines. Also the olive oil and 3 kinds of honey were delicious. As an added bonus, we were able to taste 2 port wines, which was actually not foreseen, but was still heartily offered. Along the way, the very friendly guide Felipe had shared interesting information about the Douro Valley. The welcome at the winemaker was professional, but above all cordial. Then we took a boat trip of about an hour on the Douro along the vineyards. Then it went to the 2nd wine estate where we were served white and red wine for lunch and after a short tour we could taste 5 port wines. The visitors always get the opportunity to buy, but without pressure. Overall a very nice and relaxing tour well worth the money.

Very affordable excursion. We had an incredibly committed and inspiring guide, she was also an excellent driver. Very nice arrangement with wine tasting, then a good 3-course lunch with wine in a cozy place, boat trip (a must), then port wine tasting at a family winery. In between wonderful views of the Douro Valley. All 8 of us in the car were very happy with the day.

A wonderful, relaxing day with amazing views of the Douro Valley. Maria was a great host and explained things during the drive as well as during our stops and tours. Nice, small producers for the wine and port tastings and a nice lunch. Fun stop in a very small town with a quirky bar. I highly recommend Maria and the tour company!
