The exhibits and especially the multimedia screens were very informative. The boat ride was a good time to catch a breath and take a seat ;). It was a good attraction especially for the younger part of the trip. When you think how to enrich the experience you could add a small niche with a bit more detail of world discovery tours of Vasco da Gama, Magellan etc. where the more interested people could learn a bit more about their travels on eg a wide screen. All in all - a nice attraction summarizing the Portuguese conquest of the far lands.
