Wonderful day trip with our guide Luis (who is Portuguese and speaks English natively having spent half his life in Scotland). The small group setting, farm-to-table lunch and winery visits were great! The boat ride was a beautiful ending, complete with drinks and nice meat/cheeses/snacks. Luis made some extra stops to get the best views too. Luís, our driver and guide, was wonderful. He made the trip fun. He kept us informed and entertained with great energy. He helped us with everything for the day so the only thing we had to think about was enjoying the quintas (wine houses) and the views. This tour was more wonderful because we have some travelers in our family with motion sickness issues, so having a smaller format comfortable van and using a smaller private boat was perfect. The wines we tried were interesting in a very good way and we enjoyed learning about the processes, seeing the views from above, and looking at everything while on the river. Special thanks to Beatriz as well as Gil and Pascal our other guide and boat operators. I would recommend this to everyone.
