What to Expect
Depart on a tour to Santiago de Compostela, one of the world's most important pilgrimage sites, classified as World's Heritage by UNESCO, since 1985.Here, get to know the place where the tomb of Santiago was found in the 9th century. Visit the 11th century cathedral where you may assist to the pilgrimage mass and enjoy from the happiness of the pilgrims who daily finish their way at the Obradoiro's Square.
On your way back you will be introduced to the seaside city from the 13th century, Viana do Castelo. Located at the mouth of Lima River, it became an important portuguese trading post. Here, you will visit Santa Luzia's Church and have a panoramic view of the whole city. Come to walk by the historical center and take a picture to the Cathedral and many other 15th and 16th century buildings.
