Porto: Half-Day Street Art Tour

Luigi is a very dynamic and passionate tour guide. Both his explanations and itinerary were cleverly prepared to distill his in-depth knowledge about Porto and the Street art community. This helped us to progressively understand the artsy mindset of small artists who started small and who are now world famous. Thank you Luigi for your wonderful explanations, humour and your positive and refreshing energy.

The tour is not to be missed. We had Luigi as our guide. In three hours, he introduced us to Porto's street art scene. He made us aware of the differences between public, street and urban art, introduced us to the facets of street art and sharpened our awareness of the smaller pieces of art. We also learned about the history of the scene and the conflicts with the city. He did not ignore the conflicts within the scene (mainstream vs. underground) and with tourism. Luigi himself was an extremely pleasant person. He has a wealth of knowledge, had a great sense of humor and was able to capture us immediately with his enthusiasm. Thank you Luigi! The tour was just fantastic. Our guide, Luigi, was really passionate about street art and this made the tour even more incredible. Everything he showed us and said gave us a new perspective about the city. It was one my favorite activities while I was in Porto.
