We loved this tour! João took us to restaurants we would have never found on our own and we tried foods we’d be unlikely to choose on the menu for ourselves. We enjoyed all of the food and João did an excellent job describing the food, drinks, and sights around us. The tour was a highlight of our trip to Portugal! 10/10 would recommend.

If you are an open-minded lover of food, you’ll need to book this tour. João was an enthusiastic guide who took us to some of his favourite spots for an authentic Porto eating and drinking experience. We booked a private tour for our party of 4 and we’re given the opportunity to declare any dietary restrictions at the time of booking. These restrictions were taken into consideration to ensure everyone had a good experience. We visited 5 restaurants with food and drinks at each stop over 3.5 hours. The pace of this tour was perfect and João was an incredible host. I can’t recommend this tour enough. Also, in case you might be worried about all of the hills in Porto, don’t be. A great sampling of food, pastries, wine and beer from places I would never find on my own. I definitely recommend this tour. Joao, the guide, was great. He was really knowledgable about Porto and Portugal and took time to point out other places of interest in Porto were of interest to me.
