There are two options for the Portocard. If you only want to drive and don't want to visit museums, you can drive cheaper. We saw that in the interactive travel agency at the airport. The public transport in Porto is clean and very good. The timing is also very good.

The Porto transportation card is an excellent way to get around the city if you staying there for several days. If you are in Porto only for one day (like I was), I would recommend paying for each bus/metro ticket instead of the transportation card. It will likely be cheaper. The only downside of doing this is that you will not get the discounts for museums, churches, bars, and restaurant that are included in the transportation card.

Had a nice day! We had a small group of 8 people and a nice guide Ivo. Coming from the Douro Valley himself, he gave more information and also showed enthusiasm for the area. He drove nicely, answered all questions, joked. The only thing I didn't count on and I honestly think they should pass it on is that even though you book a small group. You arrive at the winerys with a large group. Several people had also booked this day trip with the same organization, but in a larger bus. So you are with several people at the tastings and on the boat. The small group, on the other hand, makes it more intimate and ensures that you also start talking to each other.
