We had a wonderful time. The weather was beautiful. We couldn’t have asked for a better boat tour. 50 minutes was just long enough to see a lot but not long enough to get bored.

The 6 bridges cruise along the Douro River was a beautiful way of taking in the beauty of Porto with its diverse character from the water. The departure point is easily accessible and located in the vibrant Ribeira area. However, try to get there early as to be able to secure a spot in the front part of the boat, as the back half is covered in perspex which limits what you can see and does not allow for good pictures to be taken. The trip lasts around 45 minutes and considering that and what you get to see, it's definitely worth every penny. Highly recommended!

Admire the old city of Porto, with its typical houses and the hustle and bustle of the Ribeira population on a sightseeing cruise along the Douro. Take in the views of the Ponte da Arrábida that connects the two river banks. Embark on a sightseeing cruise across the Douro River and admire the scenic riverbank. Take advantage of the “Bridges Cruise” application for commentary available in 16 languages. You can choose a combined tour of the Cruzeiro das Pontes and a wine cellar with a tasting of different wines.

  • The Bridges Cruises departs daily at 9:30 AM, 10:30 AM, 11:30 AM, 1:30 PM, 2:30 PM, 3:30 PM, 4:30 PM, 5:30 PM, 6:30PM (depending on the season).
  • The Burmester Wine Cellar is open from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM and from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The last entry is at 6:00 PM (depending on the season).

Simple relaxing tour down the river with good views and bridges. Minimal tour as requires you to download an audio guide which we did not do as we only had an international phone. Would recommend for a chill activity
