The boat cruise itself was nice and relaxing. The boat was quite large, with 2 decks, and they packed in a lot of passengers. Many were forced to stay inside, because there was no more room on the top deck. Commentary was multi lingual, focused on the bridges primarily. They could have done a better job of describing the sights along the river. We booked our tickets through the app, but did not realize that we needed to exchange them for physical tickets at the ticket counters on the dock. We arrived 30 minutes earlier than scheduled, and tried looking for the "Get Your Guide" person or sign, but never found one. There were lots of tourists lined up at ticket booths at the GPS location provided by the confirmation. After 15 minutes, we lined up and showed the ticket booth our e-tickets, and were told to go to a different booth 30 meters away. That turned out to be the correct place, and they had our booking info, which they used to issue physical tickets.

It was a canned audio presentation but very helpful in getting to know the bridges of Porto. They also went into some historical detail of the city and pointed out different buildings and important areas of the city. All in all, this is a good value for those who don’t have a week to spend in Porto to explore but want to come away with more knowledge of this delightful city and her people!

Important: if you contract the service online and pay after 7:00 p.m. or on weekends or holidays, you will not appear on the reservation list. You have to go to the counter they have in the estuary so they can call the offices and that way they can take your reservation. After that moment, everything is normal.
