This tour is highly recommended. Inez our cheerful and enthusiastic guide was fantastic. The trip in the jeep over bumpy roads, the kayaking with swimming in the large lake, the authentic Portuguese food and then the relatively short walk to the beautiful waterfalls where we could cool down in the water and finally a walk through the old village. Inez knew a lot to tell and we enjoyed this day.

My boyfriend and I were off with three other tourists plus two guides. It was an absolutely amazing experience that I can only recommend to others. Right from the kayak to the waterfall trip and everything in between was fabulous. Our guides took us by the hand all day and did everything to make us feel good. If I could, I would give the trip 6 stars.

If you are having second thoughts or reconsidering this trip, don't! Just do it. And if you are lucky, Diogo will be taking you. If not, ask for him. The views were amazing, the trip was adaptable to the energy of the group. Slippery rocks and steep climbs were manageable under the scorching hot weather because our guide, Amazing Diogo made great efforts to assure the safety of everyone and that we were all having a great time. We went off-road to our first location where we kayaked, then we had lunch and trekked to the waterfalls, and lastly, a visit to the village. The only thing... Just wished the time spent at the waterfalls were longer. Everything else was perfect.
