Full description

After meeting your guide at Estiva Quay in Oporto, board a boat heading to Pinhão. Enjoy some breakfast on board while sailing through the Douro waters, admiring the breathtaking valley.     Sail through the Crestuma-Lever Dam and the Carrapatelo Dam. Savor a delicious lunch served on board and get to know the history behind the region through your audio guide, available in four different languages. Pass by Régua, known worldwide as the capital of the Vine and Wine.   Debark at Pinhão - you’ll arrive right in the center of the Douro Demarcated Region, the first regulated wine region in the world. It is here that many of the Port Wine producing estates operate. Visit Quinta da Roêda, a charming and traditional vineyard estate. Taste some of the delicious wines that are produced here. Finally, board a bus to arrive back to Oporto at approximately 8:30 PM.

The boat trip was very interesting and pleasant. Especially sailing through three locks. The food - breakfast and lunch - was excellent including good wine. But a visit to the CROFT winery ruined everything. They gave us as a taste some pink liquid without taste or smell and with a little alcohol. They claimed it was rosé port wine. I don't know why they made fools of us when we know so much about wine. The bus ride back to Porto was through amazing countryside. It's just a shame that it was already getting dark and we couldn't see much of the beautiful vineyards.

Très bonne prestation seul bémol la propreté des toilettes!! Dommage que nous n’ayons pas d’audio guide pour les explications car malheureusement nous ne pouvions pas entendre les explications car trop de bruit …dommage également que la visite du vignoble se soit fait au pas de courses et dégustation d’un seul vin car nous sommes arrivés avec du retard et pas le temps d’acheter quoique ce soit…

Croisière de plus de 8h. Petit déjeuner et déjeuner inclus à bord. Attention si vous voulez acheter à boire, prévoyez des espèces, la CB n'est pas acceptée. Mériterait plus de commentaires tout au long de la croisière, il y en a trop peu. Il y a beaucoup plus de places à l'intérieur que sur le pont, il faudra être dans les premiers à vous installer sur le pont après le déjeuner si vous voulez profiter du soleil, de l'extérieur et de la sublime vue sur les panoramas qu'offre la croisière. Visite rapide d'un vignoble mais très intéressante suivie d'une dégustation et d'un retour à Porto en bus (compter 2h de trajet). Bon rapport qualité prix
