This was an amazing way to experience Porto! For fours hours, my guide Diogo and I walked around to see the best views, beautiful architecture, and the best food spots. And it was just us! Diogo told me about the history of the city and its culture, as well as what it’s like to live in Porto today. We stopped at the Livraria Lello and skipped the line, ate traditional pastries at a local coffee shop, and went in to some cool buildings that aren’t as well known to tourists. In addition to all that, Diogo was available from the start of my trip via text to recommend the best places to eat and hang out, as well as to answer any questions. If you’re looking for a unique and personalized tour experience, look no further! To be honest, Diogo’s recommendation for the best hotdog in Porto was worth the price alone. :)

Full description
Start a tour from visiting one of the most beautiful train station in the world, São Bento Station, and admire beautiful exotic azulejos tilework that tells a visual story of history and culture of Portugal. From Porto Cathedral and the Luis I bridge, be mesmerized by breathtaking panoramas of the historical city center of Porto. In the area of Santa Catarina street, the major pedestrian shopping street since old time, have a look of Majestic Cafe and Almas Chapel, appreciate famous fresh Portuguese custard tarts coming out from oven, and try different types of port wine.
In the second half of the tour, visit Calmo Church, another azulejo-famous architecture, and Clerigos Church complex, which tower is an iconic symbol of Porto, gracing the city’s skyline. At last, visit Livraria Lello, one of the world’s most beautiful bookstores, known for its intricate architecture and a source of inspiration for J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter series. Admission of the Livraria Lello is included in the price of the tour, and there is no waiting time.
