Amazing experience, Paulo was informative, knowledgeable and an absolute pleasure to be with all day. We learned so much from his knowledge of wine making to geography and history of the land. Would highly recommend this private tour and lunch was delicious too!

My friend and myself booked the full day Tour from Porto to the Douro valley, with Get a Guide, the trip was excellent, as was our Portugese and English speaking guide Sergio, who was both informative and humorous, his easy manner made our day memorable, from when he picked us up outside our Porto Hotel at 8.30 am. The stops along the way were well spaced, I would highly recommend both Sergio and this tour.

Ivo was a perfect guide – very knowledgeable and personable. He certainly made the tour a wonderful experience; it was a pleasure to spend time with him. Of coursel Douro Valley is a must if you’re visiting Portugal. The region is very scenic and beautiful. The wine and food were lovely. The entire experience was perfect. Ivo grew up in the Douro Valley and shared interesting, personal stories regarding the region. We highly recommend the tour, especially with Ivo.
