Private Douro Valley 4WD Tour with Wine Tasting and Picnic

Rodruigez was a great guide, informative, engaging and very professional. In the 4 wheel drive you get the local experience and the tour allows you to explore the region in a leisurely way. The vineyard tour was great and I would highly recommend this tour. We had a fantastic time.

Our guides, Diogo and Rue, were funny, entertaining and well-informed about not only the history of Douro Valley and port wine, but about the history of Portugal. My friends and I had an incredible time off-roading with these two, learning about the area, and sampling Croft port.

the itinerary was well selected our guide, John, made the biggest efforts to make us satisfied. I HAVE 2 COMPLAINTS. The first one improve the A.C. system in the car. taking off the roof is not enough on hot days, and the weather in the valley is very hot most of the year. We had 37 Celcius in June. Second, if you promise a picnic in my imaginations it is not a paper box with 4 samples of deep-fried dough filled with meat sauce or cod fish. Cold fried dough that was made in the morning is very NOT TASTY at noon, especially on a very hot day. if this is typical as a Portuguese picnic as our guide answered our question then please explain in the tour description what the picnic includes.Except the remarks made I will recommend the tour.
