Full description
Start your full-day tour in the center of Porto where your guide will introduce you to the rich history of the city and share some intriguing anecdotes with you. Travel in style in a comfortable minivan to Peso da Régua, in Northern Portugal for a short coffee break.  Next, head to the first winery stop on the itinerary. Discover and taste the region's famous wines while admiring the panoramic views of the vineyards that weave across the landscape. Around midday, you’ll move on to a restaurant for a delicious local Portuguese lunch. Choose from fish, meat, and vegetarian options. Continue your journey to the second vineyard where you will learn about the various stages of winemaking from a vineyard specialist and get to try out some of Douro’s finest Porto wine. As a special treat, stop at the Pinhão Railway Station, whose walls are beautifully decorated with blue glazed mosaic tiles depicting sceneries of the Douro Valley and its history of port wine production. Before returning to Porto, take a scenic 1-hour river cruise along the Douro River, where you can mingle with the other guests you've met along the tour. On your route back to Porto your minivan will stop at an amazing viewpoint where you can take beautiful pictures of this UNESCO World Heritage site.

I highly recommend travellers try out this tour. Getting sorted was super easy, from the booking process, to confirmation and pick-up. The experience itself was a memorable one. Durro Valley is a magical place that will not disappoint. A special thank you to Paulo, our guide for the day. He was knowledgeable, very attentive and accomodating, making sure everyone was comfortable.

The day was incredible. So many surprises and so much fun as well. Not only the tasting, the lunch the cruise and the view but also Milena who I think is also full responsible of the magic of the Douro Valley. Although she does this on a daily basis it feels like it is her first day as we can feel her passion about it. She is a expert, a good story teller and such a good person. John the driver was also a nice man. He is discreet but we felt that he was such a good help. The trip worth every penny. I would not able to give any cons. Travellers go book it now !!

Everything was nice. From the text I got as a reminder of the place and time of the meeting point right until the end. The to farms that we visited gave us the inside into the making of Porto and other table wines from Douro Valley. Two sides: on small family owned vinegar and one of mass production big company. The boat ride was a very relaxing 1 hour after a lot of drinking (two tastings and a lunch were they didn’t like to see empty glasses of wine )
