Igor was the best tour guide! He was very knowlegeable and engaging. The Duoro Valley is beautiful. We started our visit with a boat ride on the river, then went to a winery. Then had lunch at another winery and more wine tasting. It was a nice way to meet some other people on our tour bus. There were a few options to pick from for lunch which was nice. Highly recommend!

The wine tour, and our guide was amazing. We were a group of 8, and I arranged the tour. We were all pleased with everything, except when it came to the river tour. The drivers of the boat were late, and showed up under drunk-one moreso than the other. I am surprised the tour guide still allowed this. The boat drivers were very rude to us, especially the one driving the boat. We were shocked, and to be honest, it ruined the trip for us, as it was the last part of the day-it was what we remembered. Our group talked about it after afterwards, and we all agreed the boat tour drivers behaviour was not acceptable. I did report it to our guide Milena right away. I also sent an email to the tour operator, however have not received a response as yet. Regards, Carol

Igor was a fantastic and very entertaining guide who took our group through the history of the area with lots of knowledgeable facts. Julio was an excellent driver. Our first stop to the port wine vineyard was excellent, especially the white port. At the second second vineyard our host was very funny and entertaining. Unfortunately the lunch that was served was very below par and tasteless. Overall a good day as the valley itself is beautiful and the boat ride enabled us to get a beautiful view of both sides of the valley.
