The motor yacht Northern Lights is stylized after the classic New England 1920s-style steamships. Sit back and relax in a climate-controlled (with heating and air-conditioning) cabin, or enjoy the sea breeze on the open-top deck. Be sure to visit a fully stocked bar on the main deck to purchase refreshments by credit card, to sip refreshing drinks as you cruise along the harbor. The Northern Lights yacht is one of the most comfortable and versatile cruise vessels in Boston Harbor, at 115 feet in length it features six bathrooms and provides ample seating throughout the ship for up to 149 passengers. It was a wonderful experience! Very romantic and the perfect touch to a weekend in Boston. There was a little history (enough to love, not to bore) and a lot of beautiful sights. I tend to get motion sick but did not have that issue. The only thing I wish was different was the quality of food/drink menu. It was very limited and I ended up getting a drink I did not like as a result. However, it was still amazing and I would do it again!

The evening weather was perfect; the staff was very friendly, very professional. Due to parking problems, We'd arrived just as the boat was boarding passengers. My friends were trying to locate a sign in location, as I was asking people standing in line if we were in thr right place;and this young man came up to me, having overheard my frustrations; he smiled and thoughtfully assured me my group wad in correct place, and he checked us in. "Have a great time." We did just that!

Must do in Boston! I live in Back Bay so am a local, and this was my 1st sunset cruise. After an afternoon in the North End, I took my mom as a surprise. The views and the tour were amazing. Love the bar on board. We had a great time and met some tourists from Kentucky. Get there early to check in and verify your ticket inside. [Even with a mobile ticket you check in) seats fill up fast on the top deck and outside. Pro tip: ask for the extra chairs from parties not using them at the tables.
