What to Expect
On this full-day loop tour from Portland you’ll visit many of the scenic sites along the Columbia Gorge. Stop at Crown Point’s Vista House, a unique visitor’s facility that was built in 1916. The viewpoints here feature 2 of the best views of the entire Columbia Gorge. The sights are truly breathtaking.
You’ll head out on the Historic Columbia River Highway National Scenic Byway. See the2nd-highest year-round waterfall in America. During your tour you’ll see a number of other waterfalls as well, including Latourell Falls, Multnomah Falls, Bridal Veil Falls, Wahkeena Falls, and Horse Tail Falls.
For lunch you’ll have a selection of places to choose from in Hood River. Enjoy lunch and the views of Mt. Hood and Mt. Adams. Visit some of the town's many boutiques and wine tasting rooms.
Wine tasting venues that are particularly recommended are the Naked Winery tasting room and the Springdale tasting room.
