Full description

Walk the beaches and an old growth forest along the Oregon Coast, and discover technological relics as you drive the Pacific Coast Scenic Byway with a small group led by an interpretive guide. This day trip is a tour along a rugged section of Oregon's northern coast.

You’ll travel northwest of Portland, as your guide takes you through the farmland of Tualatin Valley, a sub-valley of Willamette, one of the richest valleys in the world, known for its hazelnuts, berries, Christmas trees, and Pinot Noir. 

You'll spend time in Cannon Beach to check out Haystack Rock, boutique shops, restaurants, cafes, and art galleries.

Tour guide was knowledgeable but the tour was not what we expected. We were supposed to have 3 hours in Cannon Beach on our own to eat lunch, look around, etc. The tour group was only myself, my sister, another person and the tour guide. The guide changed everything up. We had half hour to look around and by then a lot of shops were closed. We felt like we had no choice except to eat lunch with her and the other person in the group. If the tour was listed as lunch with group, no problem but it was not. My sister lives several thousand miles from me and we were looking forward to wandering around on our own for that time. We did enjoy the beach and the views- it just was not what we expected.Also, the tour guide was wearing open toed shoes and a skirt and did not bring a jacket so she was cold and kept on turning up the heat in the van.
