Full description
Explore the breathtaking coast of Portland, Maine on this 5-hour guided bike tour. The tour begins with a ride along a bike path through Ferry Village, one of Portland’s most charming communities. Next stop is Bug Light, which marks the entrance to the Portland Breakwater Lighthouse.  You will then explore the lighthouse, enjoy the magnificent views from the park, and learn about the liberty ships built during the Second World War. From there you will cycle on to the Spring Point Lighthouse and Fort Preble, a 19th-century stone fortification. Continue through Portland’s charming beachfront communities before cycling onto Shore Road, one of Portland’s most exclusive addresses. The next stop is the majestic Portland Head Light, where you will enjoy one of Portland’s best lobster rolls while overlooking the ocean.
