Port of Palermo

The experience can be carried out both on a 14-metre vintage Yhact and on an 11-metre sailing boat. Customers can choose the type of boat, but clearly the boats are filled. For up to 6 people the excursion will be done on a sailing boat, furthermore for up to a maximum of 14 people it will be done with the vintage Yhact. Then communicate your boat preference. The tour on board our tourist trains will allow you to admire the most important sites in the city of Palermo. The ticket is valid for 24h. It is a hop on / hop off service with 3 stops available: Port of Palermo , Palazzo dei Normanni, Teatro Massimo. All the little trains have audio guides in the following languages: Italian, English, French, Spanish, German, Portuguese, Russian, Chinese Every 30 minutes you will have a little train at your disposal at each stop so you can move around the city. The sightseeing tour on board has a duration of 1 hour. The service operates daily from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.

You will be able to take a walking tour at your own pace, choose monuments and routes in complete autonomy, thanks to the rental of the audio guide and the support of the city map. How it works: You can rent the audio guide at the Palermo infopoint in the historic center, in via Vittorio Emanuele 351. Together with the audio guide, a map of the city with 10 routes, designed for you, is provided. Along each route on the map you will find a monument or point of interest indicated to which a button in the audio guide will refer. Enjoy a pickup from your accommodation in Palermo, Cefalù, or the Port of Palermo and embark on an exploration of the region's stunning attractions. First, visit the slopes of Mount Etna to experience the lava fields and the incredible landscape view from Europe's highest and most active volcano.   The Etna volcano is one of Sicily's main tourist attractions with thousands of visitors every year. The most common route is through the road leading to Sapienza Refuge, lying at the south of the crater at elevation of 1,910m. It hosts a large parking area, several bars, a hotel, and is a starting point for the cable car. From the refuge, you can take the cable car uphill to an elevation of 2,500m. From there, you can take a drive with special terrain vehicles, or enjoy a long walk to the designated crater area at 2,920m.   The next stop will be in Taormina where you’ll have leisure time for an independent tour of the town, ideal for strolling and window-shopping. The core of the town is pedestrianized and walking through its streets will indulge you in the Taormina atmosphere. You’ll have time to relax in a café and taste a granita (semi-frozen dessert made from sugar, water, and various flavorings). You can also enjoy an independent visit to the famed Greek theater or the several minor sites to be discovered around Taormina.   The last stop will be at Castelmola which offers a balcony over Taormina and the bay of Giardini Naxos framed by the mysterious and beautiful active volcano, Mount Etna. Marvel at the spectacular panoramas, narrow winding streets, and old-world charm of this fascinating comune before being dropped back at your accommodation or at the port.
