Port of Kotor

The tour starts with meeting at the port of Kotor or on the main gate of the old town. Sightseeing begins with visiting Perast – beautiful baroque coastal town. Our first stop is outside the town’s center at an observation deck with a panoramic view to take photographs of Perast and small picturesque islands Our Lady of the Rock (Gospa od Škrpjela) and St. George. We continue the tour with an organized boat ride to the island Our Lady of the Rock, where you get to know all the facts about the island’s history. When this visit is over, you go on a short walk around the town, you have some free time to visit the Town Museum, chapels, churches, luxurious mansions. We returning back to Kotor and going to Dub, where we start the cable car ride. During the cable car ride you will have the chance to enjoy amazing views at Kotor, Tivat and whole bay. You will go from 65m to 1350m above sea level in only 11 minutes. When we arrive at the top, you will have some free time to enjoy the views, have a refreshment or try local delicacies in an authentique way (not included). After the cable car ride and opportunity to enjoy the views of Boka Bay, we will take you back to Kotor Old Town so you can enjoy the charmes of the town on your own!

Our tour begins at the Kotor Old Town Sea Gate, where you will be welcomed by your tour guide. A short walk to the city park leads to a speedboat that will take you on a thrilling 15-minute ride to the Island of Lady of the Rock. There, your guide will delight you with tales of the island's history and origins. From Lady of the Rock, we will travel by speedboat to the charming village of Prcanj, where you can enjoy a leisurely stroll through the picturesque streets. Once we arrive at the kayaking spot, we will embark on a peaceful, one and half hour long, exploration to discover the quaint village of Dobrota, stopping along the way to take a refreshing dip in the crystal-clear waters of a secluded beach. After a relaxing 15-minute break, upon arrival to the starting point we will continue our adventure with a scenic 35-minute bike ride from Prcanj to the Old Town of Kotor. Once we reach our destination, your guide will lead you back to the meeting spot where our journey began.

According to the legend, Our Lady of the Rocks was created after two local brothers found an icon of the Madonna washed up on a rock. Ever since then locals from Perast, have been throwing rocks in to create the island - even today, there's a festival every year called Fasinada, where locals throw rocks into the sea around the island. Our Lady of the Rocks is a Roman Catholic church with a fascinating little museum attached. Enjoy your boat ride with us! Our team will welcome you next to the Museum of Perast at the "Barbeta Speedboat meeting point". We give you a ride to the island (and back) where you can enjoy your visit to the church (on you for a fair extra fee). After your visit the skipper will drive you back to the meeting point. The rides take approximately 1 hour (sailing to the island 10 min, your visit 30-40 min, your pictures 10 min and return to Perast 10 min). After meeting your guide you will enjoy walking through the maze of Kotor's medieval quarter, its bustling market and among beautiful Renaissance buildings. As you make your way along an ancient cobblestone trail that weaves through the old chestnut forest, the silence only broken by the soft rustling of leaves and the crunching of gravel underfoot. Finally, you will arrive at the picturesque village of Gornji Stoliv, meaning Upper Stoliv, where you can take in the breathtaking views of the bay while enjoying refreshments at a local home hosted cafe. After exploring the upper village for 30 minutes, you will retrace your steps and make your way back to where you left your bikes. From there, you will cycle back to the starting point of the tour, taking in the beauty of the bay along the way.
