We had such a great tour with Dourvesh! He showed us the most famous places in Port Louis, like the Waterfront, the Granary, Aapravasi Ghat, China Town, the Central Market and many more. He knew all the facts and answered all of our questions. We stopped at many different restaurants and tried more than 15 different foods, sweets and drinks!! It was amazing, so delicious and great to learn more about the multifaceted food culture of Mauritius. Would do it again every time, highly recommended! Small tip from my side: make sure you're having a light breakfast 2-3 hours before you start the tour so you're not very hungry at the beginning because you will visit some sites before you get to try the first food but make sure you are hungry enough to being able to try everything ☺️
Dourvesh, our tour guide, was amazing! He was incredibly knowledgeable, very inclusive, making sure everyone was catered for throughout. The tour involved a lot of information regarding the history of Mauritius which was fascinating. The food we had was so good as well! We tried food from a range and mixture of cultures, all of which have derived from the sheer diversity of races and religions that reside here. Absolutely brilliant trip- It took just over 4 hours. Highly recommend to all the foodies out there.
