Me and my wife had an amazing time and the time was good as well. Was a very nice clear time and got some cracking photos. The down side was the space in the helicopter is you are in the 6 seat chopper and not a lot of room from people in four seats at the back. Also I think the people in the two middle seat at the back row don’t get to see as much for their money. I was sitting on the back right and never got to see the Port Louis as this was only allowing people to see from on the left side. So I have to say it’s expensive for them middle seat at the back to not see as much. Also not guaranteed eight to get to sit next to your partner due to peoples weights.

All in all it was an unforgettable experience to see the island from above. If your hotel is in the north or west around Port Louis the shuttle time is very short (15-30 minutes). The helicopter company makes a very professional impression. You have a reception where you checkin for the flight as well as a very comfortable boarding lounge where you wait for your flight. Safety instructions were given very clearly and detailed. The pilot explained during the flight what you can just see and always did two rounds of each sight. So both left and right seated people could see the sight perfectly out of the window. A negative point is that there’s a middle seat with restricted view. Where you are sitting is defined by your weight, so you hardly have any influence if you’re sitting in the middle or at the window. I also would suggest to book the flight directly at the helicopter company and take a taxi if the hotel is close. This saves about 100€. In total it was a perfect experience.
