WOW!!! What an unexpected surprise this tour was! Was the highlight of our trip to Port Lincoln (even though we originally came to see a shark!) From start to finish, could not have enjoyed our day more! Did not stop chatting, laughing and learning all day! Super informative, passionate and overall amazing guide “Beebs” showed us the sights of Port Lincoln and Coffin Bay and made the experience amazing with his knowledge and enthusiasm. Felt like we were out with an old friend for a day trip! Great food, great banter and would highly recommend this tour to everyone! 10/10 if I could give 6 stars I would!!!

We were picked up by Paul from our hotel in Port Lincoln. Paul was professional and pleasant and quickly got us on our way. We felt at ease and the conversation flowed naturally. The vehicle was clean and comfortable. Paul was a safe driver who had excellent local knowledge. He was interesting and informative sharing many stories with us. We appreciated his open friendly manner and willingness to answer our questions. We will always remember the pristine beaches and the beautiful national park. Other highlights of the tour were Coffin Bay and the oysters, the National Park, the quirky morning tea , the seafood lunch and much more. Paul helped us become more familiar with the area and what it had to offer. He went out of his way to give us a good time. Nothing was too much trouble and we thank him for a special trip which we can highly recommend to others visiting Port Lincoln. Paul took some fun photographs of us during the day which he gave us. This was an unexpected bonus.

Start your journey by meeting your Untamed Escapes Guide and taking a short drive down the coast to board CBO1 for a taste of world-famous Coffin Bay oysters. Experience Coffin Bay offers two exceptional oyster experiences from which to choose. The rate includes the "Short & Sweet" 90-minute tour, which includes a cruise to the first-ever Coffin Bay oyster farm. As you sit back and relax, a veteran oyster farmer will share the history of oyster farming and the secrets behind producing world-class oysters. Learn how to shuck like a pro and have the option to purchase local sparkling wine to complement these delicious morsels. For an even more immersive experience, upgrade to the 3-hour Oyster Farm and Bay Tour. This extended journey cruises 16km into the crystal-clear turquoise waters to an oyster farm. Along the way, you'll marvel at the stunning Coffin Bay coastline, with views of secluded islands, pillowy beaches, and, if you're lucky, playful pods of dolphins. This tour includes waders, allowing you to walk among the oyster beds in the calm waters. This optional upgrade costs an additional $95 per person. Your day also includes visiting Coffin Bay National Park, home to some of the Eyre Peninsula's best beaches, including Almonta Beach, and a habitat for many kangaroos and emus. You will also enjoy a relaxing lunch at Oyster HQ, where you can enjoy a range of local produce sourced from the surrounding sea and land while overlooking the bay. Finally, back in Port Lincoln, you'll be treated to sweeping views at Boston Bay Wines. Perched above the Southern Ocean, you can sample a range of premium wines before being dropped off at your Port Lincoln accommodation between 5 pm and 5:30 pm.

  • If you would like to upgrade to the 3-hour cruise for $95pp, please contact Untamed Escapes directly.
  • Dietary requirements can be catered for; please advise these when booking.
  • Small group tours are operated on a coaster bus with a maximum of 20 people.
  • This tour requires a minimum of four people to operate. In the unlikely event this number is not met, you will be given two options. First, transfer your booking to another day. If this is not suitable, we will provide you with a full refund.

We had a wonderful and memorable day with Jeff on Untamed Tours! He was so knowledgeable and informative! The Coffin Bsy cruised was great, but it felt a bit rushed and we didn’t go through the oyster farm only went beside it! Lunch at 1802 was great and very tasty! The drive was wonderful through the Coffin Bay National park and saw 20+ emus! The Boston Bay winery was great too, purchased beautiful wines and icream. Plus we drove on the beach at North Shields which was a wonderful experience too! Thanks again Jeff, for letting us pick your brain! Xx All the best!
