    See local wildlife in its natural habitat on a half-day safari tour. Make your way to the Amakhala Game Reserve, about an hour's drive away from Port Elizabeth. Your experienced and knowledgeable ranger will show you around the malaria-free reserve. Experience unforgettable wildlife sightings and breathtaking scenery from the back of an open safari vehicle. Choose to take an optional 1-hour boat cruise on the beautiful Bushman's River, the lifeblood of the reserve that teems with rich birdlife. Have the chance of spotting hippos in the water and the Big Five on the riverbanks.

    Please arrive at the Hlosi Game Lodge 30 minutes before the activity starts. Directions from Port Elizabeth: Follow the N2 from Port Elizabeth to Grahamstown (around 70 km). Do not take the R342 (left) to Paterson. The right-hand turn onto the R342 is exactly 3 km further down the N2. Turn right onto the R342 to Alexandria (Karel Landman Monument). You will arrive at the Amakhala Gate. Follow the signs to Hlosi Game Lodge.

    The safari was awesome and our guide was knowledgable and friendly. However i got disappointed as we had booked under the impression that there was a boat cruise as well, rather take down that option if you know that the boat cruise is not there- dont lure us in with something thats not offered at the facility.

    2 - 2.5 hours tour where can see the big 5. Afterwards you have a very nice dinner. Good tour and an excellent guid.

    Wenig Tiere gesehen. Der Game Drive begann mit 45 Minuten Verspätung, die nicht nachgeholt wurden. Die Game Drives in anderen Reservaten waren informativer und abwechslungsreicher.
