Pete picked us up at are accomodation and we were impressed by his easy going and friendly manner. This was a well planned tour. Everything ran like clockwork and. The Barra farm was an experience, we saw a large Barra landed. Pete prepared two Barra for our lunch, filleted and portioned perfectly. Made some sashimi and ceviche from parts of the fish as well. Next to a unique venue, Shannonvale winery for a fruitwine tasting. While we were tasting, Pete served the ceviche, cooked the Barra, made a delicious salad and finished with Wattle ice cream and ruby grapefruit. Great Day, home James, oops, Pete.

Great experience from the start. Pete introduced himself and we took off. First stop farm tour with sugar cane drink & chocolate. He shared great stories & kept us very entertained. After a quick farm shop we headed to a Barra farm. Fed the fish & had some amazing sashimi prepared by Pete. Then off to the Shannonvale winery where we tasted delicious wines & Pete cooked the rest of the Barra for our lunch. Ended with Daintree ice cream. Amazing! Highly recommend this trip. Great value and wonderful to support local tourism during Covid. Just do it!

Peter, the tour operator, displays his knowledge and passion regarding the areas surrounding Port Douglas and the local produce available, including a shop run exclusively to showcase small, local producers. After visiting a number of local producers, Peters’ skills from his previous life as a chef come to the fore, as he prepares a delicious lunch of sustainably sourced Barramundi prepared three different ways. Incredibly fresh and tasty. An enjoyable day and we highly recommend this tour.

Peter is a fantastic guide, chef and a really interesting guy. We had a great 1/2day, small group tour. It was a rainy day and no good for many outdoor activities (especially the Barrier Reef), but Peter’s tour was perfect. We joined another family group of 3 and all 5 of us enjoyed an awesome time. It was great value and we thoroughly recommend it.

A lovely few hours eating delicious well prepared food, drinking interesting fruit wine and listening to Pete. A great way to spend some time on holiday
