Definite recommendation! The tour goes by way too fast because it's so much fun. Although it is a tour with the eventual destination natural pools, the real highlight is the trip there. Mauricio knows all the small streets through the banana plantages, hidden beautiful spots with breathtaking views and paths. While driving, he also tells you a lot about the island. On top of that we walked away with a lot of recommendations for our remaining time here. We were amazed at the end of the day how much we had seen and how quickly it had passed. Will definitely recommend to people I know.
Felipe, our driver, was very friendly, picked us up early in the morning to ensure that we could enjoy the trail before it became crowded and gave us ample time. On the way back, he took us to see a waterfall that falls upon a road and gave us lots of useful information about the area. He was very friendly, cheerful and kind, and also arranged for relevant information to be sent to us by Logan in the office. I would highly recommend using this service.
A great trip for everyone, many fascinating places in one day, beautiful views, polite and communicative guide, answering numerous questions, providing a lot of natural, historical and botanical information. The trip is very well organized, with thoughtful time to see interesting places. The guide can book lunch so as not to waste time waiting, which is also a plus.
Excellent tour! Got to experience the crazy, beautiful, old roads of Madeira. It's rough terrain in a 4x4, so please opt out if you have motion sickness! Otherwise, HIGHLY recommend!
A really good overview of the East of the island. Perfect if you don’t have a car.
