After winding your way to the stunning hot springs of Ribeira Grande and the tranquil São Brás Lake, the tour stops off at the Gorreana Tea Factory, where you will be invited totast different kinds of tea grown locally in the only tea plantations in Europe.
After the tour, a picnic will be served for lunch.
The afternoon takes you from the land to the sea on a whale watching activity. You will have the opportunity to watch some of more than 25 cetacean species that can be found in the Azores. Although nature offers no guarantees, whales and dolphins are regularly seen during the half day tours, along with turtles, seabirds and other marine life. Before the boat trip a briefing will take place to explain which cetacean species can be observed, safety measures aboard, how to respect the animals and rules of observation at sea as well as some historical facts. During the tour each passenger is required to wear a life vest (except on our catamaran).

Prepare for the activity
The clients should be in front of Tourist Office of Ponta Delgada (which is next to the monument of the "gates of the City" - Portas da Cidade, the tourist office is under the arcades), the vehicle will be in this place with the Guide at the indicated time.
