Eraldo (don't think I've spelt that right, sorry) was an excellent guide. He made the whole visit informative and interesting. We joined an earlier group, as arrived ahead of schedule, which suited us. With a 14 year old in tow, we'd opted for the two hour slot, as felt that would be plenty long enough for the whole family. Eraldo sensibly directed us to shaded areas, where possible, in the extreme heat. The audio equipment worked really well and you could easily hear everything he said. Our group numbered 20+ people, but didn't feel overly crowded. Pompeii is a vast site and we were given the option to explore on our own at the end of the tour. We were happy to leave by then and get some lunch and drinks at one of the places near the station. I've wanted to visit for many years and it truly was a memorable experience. Thank you.

It was a memory of a lifetime! Marco was a lot of fun, shared very interesting information and was very patient with us practicing our Italiano! The highlight was unexpected stop at shepard's house, meeting Anthony, having a tasty snack and homemade wine!!! WORTH EVERY PENNY!

Was totally blown away by the history of Pompeii, well worth doing a tour of the site, as you’d get a bit lost on your own. Our guide was good, told us lots of facts, however would have like more history and how the eruption happened, instead of so much about their personal habits, funny as they were, but the guide tended to dwell on them.
