I would highly recommend this trip to anybody considering it. From the initial gathering at the meeting point to returning there, every measure was taken to ensure the care & enjoyment of all guests. Everyone from solo travellers to families with toddlers joined us. The trip was nestled in an itinerary we had planned for a week in Rome, choosing this trip for our last day & I can't think of a better way to have spent it. Anna was incredibly informative & friendly. Enrico, our driver, made travelling a breeze & Lily, our amazing guide in Pompeii really brought the history & lives of the civilians to life & painted a beautiful picture for us. After Pompeii, we took a brief trip halfway up Vesuvius to a restaurant, Kona, where we had a meal that included a starter, a whole pizza & dessert each. Then we drove a bit further to a ticket point & trekked to the crater, which took us 20 minutes. This trip is surely not to be missed, it was absolutely breathtaking, I can't recommend it enough
The guides were very very friendly and helpful! The transport very good with a new minibus. Unfortunately was the time spent in Pompeii too short in my opinion; it could have been a little bit richer in seen objectives. We had a great lunch (pizza and drinks) and then the view at Vesuvius was incredible. Though from the description it was not so clear to me that the tickets for entrance in Pompeii and Vesuvius are not included in the price, I became a good help in buying them. I warmly recommend this 1-day rise outside Naples.
Excellent value and a friendly guide. A pleasant experience. Would book with this tour company again. The bus was clean and nice with good air conditioning. If you’re on the fence about ordering the pizza after the tour of Pompeii, do it. You will be starving and the pizza is actually pretty decent.
A very worthwhile experience. Diego was an enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide who led the group well. I was very happy with the tour and glad I attended despite the super hot weather!
The tour was fantastic and Desiree was an excellent guide. The lunch was delicious and included a glass of wine. Both the restaurant and the bus were air-conditioned.
