The tour aspect was great. Frankie, our guide, was fantastic. He navigated the site to see the most popular parts first, which helped us to avoid queues and have a better experience. Also, Frankie was so knowledgeable. He made it informative, interesting and fun, so that we stayed engaged. The only thing I would mention is that after a while in our transport van, some of us were told to get out and change vans. This was because half had booked just a Pompeii tour and some had also booked to see Mt Vesuvius, which we didn’t know at the time, so it was a little unnerving being told to get out and change cars, but all was fine in the end.

had to wait an hour for the return car. would have liked to spend that time in the ruins not by the coke stand
