Experience Hunter Valley Wildlife Park which is home to a wide range of animals from Koalas, albino kangaroos, wombats, Tasmanian Devils, Peacocks, cheaters, lions, giraffes, alligators and much more. You can purchase a small amount of food from our team which will allow you to get up close and personal with our kangaroos while feeding them. You can also have the option to experience our giraffe feeding, where you will enjoy an up close and personal encounter with our giraffes while feeding them. Take the chance to explore the park at your own time and get the chance to learn more about the diverse collection when listening to one of our keeper talks or sit back and enjoy watching our animals.

Jump aboard a hot air balloon for a magical sunrise flight over the spectacular vineyards of the Hunter Valley. Take in the golden light over the hills behind Pokolbin, Lovedale and Rothbury. Then, celebrate the adventure over a gourmet breakfast and a sparkling wine at the Peterson House Winery. Begin your morning with a pre-flight passenger safety briefing and a chance to help out with the inflation of the balloons. Next, you’ll take-off into the skies above the Hunter Valley, admiring the verdant region from above as the sun rises over it. After landing, you’ll make your way to the Peterson House Winery, home to an award-winning restaurant famous for its bubbly breakfast. Enjoy an a-la-carte breakfast over some sparkling wine to finish an unforgettable morning adventure.

Be picked up from the convenience of your accommodation in Pokolbin. Board a comfortable, air-conditioned, and well-maintained vehicle. Take in the lush rolling hills of the Hunter Valley on your way to wineries, cellar doors, and vineyards. Feel the excitement build as we set off to explore the local area and get to taste Hunter Valley wines. We will be sampling fine wines at Hunter Valley boutique wine cellars. You'll be able to immerse yourself in learning the many different stories behind the boutique wines you try, feel the passion behind each story. We will stop so you'll enjoy a fresh lunch with a glass of local wine before we head off again to try some more wines after lunch along with a visit a cheese outlet. Indulge in something sweet at a handmade chocolate and fudge shop before your day comes to an end Let your local host delight you with commentary along the way. Spot local wildlife like kangaroos as you travel. Be returned to your accommodation in Pokolbin at the end of the tour. 

Experience the Audrey Wilkinson Cellar Door,  located in a prime position at the foothills of the Brokenback Mountain Ranges with spectacular views of the Hunter Valley. From the cellar door you will be guided to the on-site museum with plenty of history to see and learn. You will be guided by an experienced host through a wine Master-Class before enjoying a premium tasting of the showcase wines, which the winemakers consider to be classic varietals. Once you have completed your tasting and hopefully picked a favorite wine, you can collect your packed picnic lunch and a bottle of wine and head to one of the scenic spots on site.  Sit among the vines and enjoy the stunning views, pick a sunny spot on the lawn over looking the surrounding regions or set up at one of our undercover tables on the verandah. The experience truly is your own, enjoy it as a couple or with a group of friends.

The Hunter Valley, north of Sydney in New South Wales, is one of Australia's major wine regions, with a viticultural history dating back to the early 1800s. Known for varietals such as Semillon and Shiraz, it’s home to numerous wineries, including world-renowned brands and family-run boutique operations. One of the facts which make this tour so unique and exciting is that it's always dynamic. After picking you up from Sydney Central, we will be heading up, towards Hunter Region (2.5 hours away from Sydney), where we will have a quick stopover, halfway through, for a morning coffee (15 - 20 minutes - own expense). Now that you got to the charming town of Hunter Valley, it’s time to get your palate set for a variety of Hunter’s signature wines. We will be visiting three wineries (each winery takes about one hour). We will also stop at one of our favorite places for lunch. Here you got great views, home-brand wines, and a delicious wood oven pizza - at your own expense). As per the weather conditions, before heading back, we will stop for a quick picnic with local wines and cheese (provided by us) where you can expect one of the most beautiful views of the area! Great opportunity to chill out, and soak it all in, while having a glass of wine with some cheese, before we hit the road back to Sydney Central.

Which wine is best with white chocolate and can you enjoy chocolate with dry red wines? It's time to find out! At Tulloch we are proudly family friendly and inclusive. We have created experiences for both your younger kids, teenagers and non-drinkers. All visitors to our Cellar Door require a booking and your group will be seated together on the one table. We have mobility parking spaces available and direct level access to our Cellar Door. Guide & Support dogs are welcome inside. If you have particular dietary or access needs please let us know. Kids Junior Tasting Experience (Child) $15 - Let the kids get involved and keep them entertained whilst you enjoy your wine tasting. A specially prepared junior tasting with 4 different soft drinks & 4 matching snacks (nut & gluten free) will be presented. Children will be seated at the same table as the adult wine tasting (please note, children are to be supervised by an adult while visiting the premises). Teens Kombucha Tasting (Teenager) $20 - A sophisticated experience to be enjoyed by your teens and other non drinkers whilst you enjoy your wine tasting. A selection of Mailer McGuire specialty Kombucha paired with a local cheese box. Please select the Teenager pricing for this experience.

Ride through the bushland and vineyards of the Hunter Valley on a sunset horseback ride. Take in the sights and sounds as the local fauna come out to dine and be mesmerized by the sunset over the Broken Back Range.
